Poll Analysis for "From Gillligan's Island: Who is Your Favourite

The people have spoken.

Mary Ann	76 (66%)
Ginger	38 (33%)

Mary Ann wins but her lead was cut pack because at one time she had 69% of the vote. I think Nick at Fool for Your Stockings had a hand in this posting an entry extolling the virtues of Ginger. But sadly, the votes never really wavered since Mary Ann never had her 60% plus lead threatened.

This is not to say Ginger is not hot. She is.

I do not think anyone would argue if stuck with one OR the other that they would not have a little bit of the in and out with them. Or what ever it is that you do to float your SS Minnow.

For what it is worth I will share with you why I prefer Mary Ann.

It is not looks. It is not legs. It is not a penchant for wearing nylons.

It is her apparent innocence.

Sure... Ginger exudes sexual import and prospects but we ALL know it is just a sham. She offers the opportunity of the casting couch but not the assurance that we will get the chance to break the couch springs plying her obvious physical wares.

But Mary Ann has an innocence that for me begs to be tested and challenged. Is she so innocent and virtuous or is she hiding the wonderful embers of a orgasms to be unleashed?

Mary Ann's gingham flavoured innocence is a stronger attractant than Gingers glittering innuendo.

Analysis

The sample size was a bit small but as you can see the 2 categories were Sight and Touch. What surprised me is that Taste got no responses at all. I do think this was because of the fact the number of respondents was low.

Further, it would be interesting to know from what gender the responses came from as it may be different for men and women. Personally I think site is the greatest influencer as sight is the sense with the greatest capture range. You usually can see something before the other senses come into play.

As to taste I hope it is not an under-rated sense. Remember the taste of a kiss? The slight saltiness of skin? Oh yeah, tast works for me to.

As well as sound!

When did You Become Aware of Stockings Poll Results

Thanks everybody who participated. I appreciate those who take the time to do the polls!

As a minor - (80%)

I have to admit being pleased with this result. I was one of the 80% in this category and it is good to know I am not alone. Seems that the vast majority of peoples awakening to stockings occurs as a minor. I am not surprised with this result since from my experience I was in my pre-teens when I saw my first set of stockings. I would definitely class this as imprinting in my case and that imprinting had a huge impact on my responses to specific stimuli - namely stockings.

18 to 30 - (6%)

As we can see the following 3 categories shared the same percentage and I simply do not think there needs to be any commentary or judgement as to when you became aware of stockings. The important thing is you did become aware and I hope you enjoy your awareness as much as I do!

Use stockings to entice a lover? (33%)

I am actually surprised to see such a low response but I guess from my male perspective (liking stockings like I do) I really thought this number would be higher. I wonder why it is not? Perhaps because the wearer knows that stockings already create a reaction from their lover? Or is it because the majority of respondents simply wear stockings for their own purposes?

Used stockings to make yourself feel sexy. (83%)

I am so interested in this response. I think it is wonderful that the wearing of stockings makes the wearer feel sexy. Please note that you are sexy with or without stockings but being the wearer if it makes you feel more sexy all the more power to you!

Been disappointed by your lover's lack of appreciation for your stockings? (16%)

To the people that have had this happen let me first say that I know I would appreciate it if you did that for me. But more importantly you tried something and it did not get the response you expected. It happens all the time but luckily, I hope, with way less frequency than the other things a person does to enhance their sexuality and sex life.

Been pleased by your lover's appreciation for your stockings? (50%)

I found this response interesting as well and was expecting a way higher number. I wonder what this means? Could it be that the person that is the receiver of the visual delight of stockings focused too much on the stockings and not on the person wearing them? If this is the case that can be a real turn off for the person taking the time and effort to wear the stockings. It is wonderful to have a fetish and share it but if one obsess about it and really articulates their obsession on the physical object of the stockings and not the person wearing them that can be a real turn off.

Been to shy to wear stockings? (33%)

Another interesting result and again a number higher than I expected. Perhaps, from my perspective, being relatively open minded about the needs of my partner I want to share what they want to share with me. I am more than pleased to let turnabout be part of my sexual experience and be open to the things that turn on my partner. And trust me... I have been asked to share some very interesting sexual proclivities!

And I do have to remeber that not everyone wears stockings for sexual arousal of themselves or others.
